Life is a Learning Process
In life, you make mistakes and you learn from them. This whole process is a learning one. That’s why I’m not afraid to make mistakes. I just do everything I can with positive attitude. When I first tried to learn how to play the piano, I bought this $200 digital piano. Did it suck? Yes. Did I regret buying it? No.
I think that too many people rely on these digital piano reviews rather than actually learning how things work themselves. Reading is fine. I don’t have anything against it, but you’re just absorbing whatever someone else is telling you. I think hands-on experience is the most valuable way to learn. That’s how I found the perfect digital piano.
If I read a few reviews, I would have probably gotten the Kawai MP6, but I personally like Roland digital pianos more. They just fit my needs better, and in my opinion, their sound quality is better.
I think that people should make mistakes. Life is all about learning. We need to figure out ourselves on what digital piano to get. That’s the best way of learning.

ARC Records Covers the Best of 2011
When it comes to music news, ARC Records is my go-to source for all and everything music. It not only has a music section with articles that have been carefully chosen and articulated by the Aurora Records staff, but a thorough music calendar as well. The calendar is a great place to go for both big-time and underground performers, so it appeals to all crowds. Recently, I checked out ARC for the top news stories of 2011 and saw that they compiled the best music moments of the year. Although I’ve seen this done by a select few sites before, I’ve never seen a site really take their time to compile this list. There were not only the biggest moments in 2011′s music history but the most hilarious as well. When I saw Rebecca Black’s “Friday” music video on there, I couldn’t help but contain my laughter. This is why ARC will always be my favorite hotspot for music news. They always keep it fun and entertaining.
$700,000 for Free Mp3 Downloads
Let me tell you a story about how free mp3 downloads almost got my girlfriend into deep trouble with the Feds. She was what I like to call a ‘serial downloader’. I still wonder how she managed to download close to 1,000 songs a month. I barely manage that in a year. Besides, I just don’t have the time.
In 2002 my girlfriend received a letter from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), which she first ignored. In fact, she threw it in the trash as quickly as it arrived. I tried advising her against it but she didn’t listen to me.
Two weeks later she received yet another letter from them, but this time the envelope was red. Red meant trouble, so far as I was concerned. When she opened it she was left agape.
“What are they saying ?” I asked her.
“I’m being sued for $700,000 !” she replied.

Getting a Yamaha C40 at the Best Price
Last week, I started to get obsessed with guitars. I was inspired by a student in our school and, dude, believe me, she’s an awesome guitar player! I really wanted to know how to play the guitar and to buy one, so I looked up “Yamaha C40 best price” on Google and found some sites like Ebay and Amazon that offer great deals for this kind of guitar.
My best friend, Lea, recommended that I get a Yamaha C40 acoustic guitar because it would be an ideal instrument for a beginner like me. It’s a full-sized classical guitar that is very affordable. Not to mention, it’s Yamaha. I am a girl, so I was looking for a guitar which has a sort of feminine touch. So far, by browsing the internet about that product, I found it cute and elegant. Its classical touch makes it look really classy and expensive-looking.
An hour of surfing and browsing from site to site and, at last, I found the perfect deal for my very first guitar purchase. Thanks to the seller, he gave me a good price.
I received my Yamaha C40 guitar two days later, and it was lovely! I have to call on my guy friend Joe who’s going to teach me basic chords. I’m deeply in love with this guitar and I’m glad I made the right choice. Credits to Lea, then!
New Music – Adele at the Hammersmith Apollo
Adele has become one of the biggest music stars in the last couple of years and it’s easy to see why. After suffering from a chest infection last month, the Tottenham-born singer was forced to cancel a string of dates on her nationwide tour but she was back at the Hammersmith Apollo belting out her hits like she’d never been away. The singer is so talented, her new music is just as good as her old stuff and the audience were lapping it up.
She opened the show with ‘Hometown Glory’ from her debut album, before launching into some of her better known tracks from the album ’21′. Many artists use a variety of dancers and performers to enhance their show but Adele seemed diminutive on stage as most of the time she was stood on her own with just a microphone for company. In truth, she didn’t need anyone else. Everyone in the audience knew every word to every song and her performance of ‘Someone Like You’ was the perfect way to end the night.

Creativity in Formulating Online Piano Lessons
Creativity is something we often perceive as an exclusive feature for us humans, such as formulating online piano lessons. But with the progress made in technology, perhaps we can no longer say we are the sole bearers of this inherent characteristic, in this case learning to play piano online.

There are those who believe that the technology to compose music is one of the largest artificial intelligence created to date. Systems are either programmed to produce music within a specific genre or “trained” to learn different kinds of familiar musical styles by looking at patterns which characterize them. These satisfactorily work well and we do find ourselves the habit of hearing and appreciating innovative music. However, when a machine creates music without any pre-determined templates or cultural references, it becomes very difficult for the listeners to determine whether it is essentially good music or not. This is the case of CAMUS, a machine that generates new music without cultural associations but still having the capability to create melodies that can be enjoyed by everyone.
Mattematiska models also mimic compositional processes exhibiting a sort of biological phenomena like the cellular automata, an operation also used by CAMUS.
A cellular machine is a system that changes over time and therefore, is considered discretely dynamic. It is vital for researchers to do simulations and modeling like the case of the cellular automata. Most disciplines such as sociology, chemistry, biology, philosophy and physics can effectively utilize this system.
The cellular, automata, fits well to create music because of its mathematical construction model. Its theory works toward the possibility of generating complex behaviors or patterns with a lesser intricate system. When making music, a complex output could be obtained by just employing simple operations. Cellular systems can be easily modified to a parameter that can result in a dynamic global behavior that is either random, predictably periodic or complex.
Rousing the Audience
Every conductor likes to know that the audience is behind the orchestra. Not behind in the physical sense, but behind the orchestra in spirit. No concert can better unite the orchestra and the listeners more than the Christmas program. The christmas music for orchestra the symphony performs draws praise from the season ticket holder and the once-a-year attendee. The music director can choose from an array of Christmas favorites from the traditional past or new music composed or arranged. With careful selection, the music can showcase the orchestra by the brilliance of the arrangement. Usually speaking, Christmas works are bright, cheerful, upbeat and buoyant giving ample opportunity to fully display the symphonic splendor of the orchestra. Oftentimes, the holiday program gives management a golden opportunity to expand the market of the organization as well as serve the needs of the community. Rousing the audience at the holiday concert can pay rich benefits in the upcoming seasons.
